Say It Again & Stages are two works that were part of the group show Preludes, which took place at Ringsted Galleriet and Ringsted Hospital in Danmark.
Say It Again is a video installation presented within a large wooden crate standing in the middle of the floor, functioning as a room within a room. Inside, an 8-minute 3D-animated video is set in a clinical, institutional scenography. In this digital space, a single stacking chair is moved by invisible forces: tipping, spinning, sliding, and falling in rhythm with a minimalist soundtrack of a flute, two chords on a piano, and the sound of someone humming nearby. Choreographed into a dance.
Stages is a series of five photographies and one chalk drawing, 50x320 cm.
